David Moore is Managing Director and CEO of Australian-listed nickel mining company Mincor Resources NL, a position he has held since 1999. Mr Moore trained as a geologist at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. After 16 years with Billiton and later Iscor in Africa, South America and Australasia he became the founding Managing Director of Mincor Resources. Since 1999 he has directed the growth of Mincor to become one of Australia’s leading nickel producers, as well as managing the start-up, growth and eventual sale of the very successful Tethyan Copper Company Ltd.
