Allan is a mining engineer with +25 years of management and production experience in deep-underground, metalliferous deposits. He has specialised in technical assessment and production economics, feasibilities, project design and costing of underground, metalliferous mines and prospects.
He worked with the Gold Fields Group in their large, deep gold mines and then spent 14 years with platinum group, Lonmin in management and technical management roles.
He has also project managed several large, deep vertical shaft complexes in South Africa both as client and as contractor. In 2000, Allan migrated to Australia with his family and set up office in Perth as a consultant. In 2006, he started RSV Australia and is currently occupied in growing that business. Allan is a firm believer in the concept of value add through Front End project work and will speak to us today about a program for aspiring producers in a presentation titled "Pre-Game Planning - The Roadmap to Development." |
