Alistair Cowden is the founding Managing Director of Vulcan. He is a geologist who has been involved with the discovery and development of a number of projects, including Nimbus Silver, Dongara Mineral Sands, Kanowna Belle gold, Hartley Platinum and Sunrise Dam gold. He has founded and managed a number of successful listed companies over the last 14 years and started his career with Western Mining at Kambalda where he completed a PhD on nickel.
